Lesson learned - not all benzoyl peroxide is the same! This regimen has almost totally cleared my skin in 3 weeks. I had a terrible break after covid about 6 months ago, and nothing I did worked. I did it all: I went to the dermatologist, I used actives from expensive skincare lines, I tried all the DIY hacks. I came across this and was so skeptical because it felt TOO gentle? Only apply once a day? And only 2%? But it worked, and I’m so grateful. I had bumps all over my cheeks and it got to a point where I thought they might be like that forever. I've suffered from hormonal acne all throughout my life and I've tried just about everything: Korean skincare, diet change, prescriptions, supplements, etc, but nothing really worked and those stubborn nodular acne always cropped back up whenever they pleased with no rhyme or reason.
It got really bad in Dec 2023 when I randomly started having terrible inflammation along with some whiteheads—which I normally don't get with my kind of acne—and I lost complete confidence in myself. I didn't want to go out, and if I did, it was only with a mask on, which only exacerbated my condition. Around that time I was on a balanced diet and my skincare routine hadn't changed, but something internally must've happened that I couldn't see or understand. I tried to have patience and give it time to heal, but when spring rolled around and it was still the same, I started freaking out and did a huge skincare rehaul.
I saw the inflammation go down with the new skincare routine, but I was still getting those pesky nodular acne and they even started developing on my cheeks when before it was solely isolated on my chin area. By August of 2024, I decided I needed to change some things up again.
Come August 2024, as a birthday gift, I bought Malezia's skincare products—everything from the cleansers to the moisturizer to the BP gel. I was honestly skeptical at first because I left American skincare behind in my high school years because their products burned my skin. I haven't looked back from my Korean skincare since, but with how saturated the market is nowadays with Korean beauty products, everything felt like a scam these days.
Two months later into Malezia, my inflammation has calmed and I only get about one nodular acne every week! On another note, I am concerned about the PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) I always get after a breakout and it doesn't seem like Malezia has something on their line to address dark spots yet, so I've been using a vitamin c serum recently because I noticed these spots weren't fading as fast as they normally do from my previous skincare routine.
My loyal skincare suddenly was not working for me when I had a weird breakout come up. I think it came from using Jojaba oil for oil cleansing. I never went to a derm, but suspected fungal acne. I did a deep dive and landed on Malezia. I saw my break out calm down after just a few days, now after a month it’s nearly clear! I do experience dryness from the treatment and have to alternate every other day. I have incorporated a gentle exfoliant as well. Excited to keep going and hopefully have my skin completely back to normal!

I would like to share long story of my skin. I´ve had problematic skin since puberty. Since then, I´ve been dealing with bad acne until I was about 20 years old. I used to go to the esthetician and used skincare. My skin wasn´t completely perfect but better than ever. In 2021 my nightmare began. Because of my complicated relationship and lack of self-confidence I went to the dermatologist who prescribed me Adapalenum 1mg/g. It took about week and a half and my face was disaster. It went from 5 bumps and closed comedones to 200. Itching, dry and bumps everywhere. The dermatologist convinced me for 11 weeks that it was normal. After 12 weeks, when it was worse and worse, I stopped Adapalene. After that I tried to put my skin under control again but NOTHING helped. Not even change of my diet or skincare. Nothing. This ruined my lack of confidence even more and I suffered from depression and anxiety (took pills). After year or so trying every possible help I met my current esthetician. I feel reassured knowing that these products will not exacerbate any fungal issues on my skin. I was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis and had to completely overhaul my skincare routine. I had purchased many products prior to my official diagnosis while waiting for my dermatology appointment, and I was tired of wasting money. Luckily, all the products I have bought from Malezia have worked for me. I will continue to purchase from them, as my moisturizer is running out quickly. I have never finished any skincare product before. I feel that their prices are a bit high if you are used to buying from The Ordinary or The Inkey List, but if you are accustomed to purchasing products from Sephora, then you should be familiar with this pricing. However, you are getting products of great quality, especially if you suffer from any of the issues that this company addresses.
Wow I started this regimen and shortly went through the most intense purge I have ever had and almost gave up thinking it wasn’t for me. I struggled with facial Seborrheic Dermatitis for a couple of years using everything from ketoconazole and steroid creams to charcoal and sulfur based soaps until I stumbled onto this product on Reddit. I can't begin to describe how much this product has improved my quality of life. Before I found this I was on a charcoal and sulfur regimen and if I wasn't careful my face would smell like rotten eggs all day.
