Malezia BHA PHA Solution

The title doesn't lie.
I'm a skincare enthusiast, I have fungal acne, I'm a product junkie and hard to please.
I had moderate expectations about this product, expecting the usual "two steps forward one step back" exfoliating acids usually provide me. I was proven WRONG in so many ways and this is INNOVATIVE and my favorite of *all the Malezia products*.
I can't believe this bottle did what 5 years of trial and error, of the odd medispa exfoliating treatment and luxury AHA products experiences did not provide.

So I can say with confidence this blew me out of the water. I haven't found anything similar in the market yet and this has excellent value.

Texture-wise, the liquid makes so much sense. I'm also glad it's in a dropper, not a "toner bottle". It helps not overuse it, because it's efficient - not overly strong that you can only use 1/week but not weak so that you have to use in excess. The liquid format makes it easier to spread, to layer under a sunscreen or a moisturiser, to apply on face, neck or body, and it's super long-lasting, and you actually treat it. It also isn't sticky or thick. So if you have patches of hyperpigmentation, this is awesome.

First of all it's genius to exclude AHA because the photo sensibility is *nonexistent* with that one.
Hence my glowing praise and recommendation to Brown and Blackskinned folks.
I've tried it at the height of austral summer on a tropical island with an average UV index of 10, with peaks at 14. I did not get rebound PIH (or dark spots returning with a vengeance, in layman's terms). I usually do apply sunscreen but even going from my bed to the bathroom would be enough to get spots. Not with this baby. I saw immediate and durable lightening of hyperpigmentation, *no worsening* on the days I did not apply enough sunscreen, and no rebound when I refused to put some because I stayed at home.

It gets rid of texture, bumps, clogged pores. I'm prone to millia, clogged pores on chin and I have a waxy sebum so my nose is always congested and I'm prone to getting persistent blackheads. But I have dry sensitive skin and malassezia. Usually I can only use enzymatic cleansing oils to solve this and they make the fungal acne worse.I also wear makeup and I'm prone to clogged pores.
This exfoliant addresses all the concerns without worsening/creating any issue ! On top of giving me a glowy and even skin tone, so I go outside with model skin! I just slap a thin layer of moisturiser (at night) or SPF50 (for the day) on and voilà.

True to the description : it leaves a veil of hydration, will give you flawless, radiant skin. You will see the difference as soon as Day 1 and it gets better with use. I don't have to discontinue use (I can use daily because I'm used to acids but YMMV), I can keep my routine barebones and still look the best I have in forever. The words texture, acne or congestion don't exist anymore. Fungal acne too is gone (my whole routine is Malezia save for a FA-safe sunscreen) and yeah F.C. and the Malezia team you're the best.

I'm also really glad this is NOT in a glass packaging (for international transits purposes but also because I'm clumsy). I love how beautiful, eco-friendly and well-thought-out everything is, this product included. It's sleek-looking.
The neutral look and the lack of photosensitivity also helped not deter my acne-prone teenage brother from using it. I don't have pictures but believe me it's terrific !

I'm pleasantly surprised at how effective this product is. It's so gentle...I was concerned the salicylic acid might be too irritating, but not the case. I'm also impressed with how few drops it takes to cover your face. Highly recommend!

I only use this on my nose for my blackheads because I use tretonoin every else. I’ve used it 3 times and its made such a visible difference in my blackheads and texture in nose. I’m a broke baddie, but I sure don’t look like one! The search is over, effective at a very good price. (For context, my biggest concerns are redness and clogged pores/blackheads on nose/surrounding area)

I’ve struggled with acne my whole life. A few years ago I found K-beauty and it changed my skin completely. It worked great! Until it didn’t. I don’t know why or what triggered it but I had redness and acne-like bumps I’d never had before. I tried so many “redness calming” products to try to calm it down and nothing worked. I was constantly researching trying to find out what was going on. I happened to come across info on fungal acne and found Malezia. I figured, well, it can make it any worse at this point. I started to see a difference in just 2 weeks and you can see in the photos the difference in a month and a half. I use the core regimen, the MCT oil (I use the oil to remove makeup and as moisturizer because it’s very dry where I live), and the BHA/PHA serum. I’m so happy that I found Malezia!! It literally saved my skin and my sanity! Please don’t ever change or stop making these products!!

I haven’t had a lot of success with the other products other than the benzoyl cream but decided to give this a try and omg it is soo great. I hope they keep making it for a long time. My skin is looking much clearer than it has in a long time

I've been using malezia products since the beginning and have always had great results, but this is next level. I get compliments on my skin all the time now. I use this nightly after cleansing with the hyaluronic acid cleanser, and follow up with the urea moisturizer. Other chemical exfoliants irritate my skin and dry me out, this does the opposite. My skin is glowing. Please never discontinue this!!

Like I will always love the moisturizer.. but this has shocked me. Almost immediate results!! So happy with my purchase!

For context, my skin is oily and acne prone. Two years ago I became fungal acne prone too. I have light-medium skin of colour that is prone to hyperpigmentation and some redness.
I've used this serum (once, every two days) as my only treatment/ active for the past month. I don't use the Benzoyl Peroxide since my skin has always preferred salicylic acid. This serum alone has kept my pores clear, prevented those annoying monthly hormonal breakouts around the chin, and helped a lot with redness and past scaring.
This serum is also very moisturising and leaves my skin soft and supple and does not cause any dry patches or peeling whatsoever. A bonus is that it absorbs nicely and doesn’t pile under make up or sunscreen.
Following advice from Simpleskincarescience I previously used Stridex pads which was effective but incredibly drying even for my oily skin. I found only two other fungal acne safe salicylic acid products on the market but their ingredients are irritating so I'm incredibly grateful that this product exists now.
I also love that this brand always offers discount codes. It makes all the products worth it, even with the international shipping. International shipping to the UK is also very fast, just over a week!
I haven't had any active acne for a while so my routine is the Malezia cleanser, Malezia moisturizer and a FA safe sunscreen in the morning. Then in the evening I use a FA safe micellar water to remove the spf/ makeup, then the cleanser, this BHA (every two nights), followed by the moisturizer.
The Malezia cleanser, moisturizer and BHA are my absolute holygrails and I always have back up bottles.

I had been using The Ordinary direct acid products, but many of those contain polysorbate 20. I was still having little breakouts. Since switching to Malezia BHA PHA solution, the tiny daily breakouts are gone. Yay! Product goes on smoothly and absorbs nicely. Does not irritate my rosacea at all. I use it at night a wake up with smooth feeling skin. Great product!
