Malezia 10% Micronized Azelaic Acid Cream

When I saw that there was a azealic acid product, I was super excited to purchase. To my INITIAL disappointment, my skin was inflamed, burning, and irritated by this product. I reached out to the Care team and they gave me advice to alternate using benzoyl peroxide and the azelaic acid on different days. That still was causing some irritation, so I ditched the azelaic acid and solely focused on using the urea moisturizer and took it a step further and added squalane oil (added drops of squalane to the moisturizer or layered on after). *THIS CHANGED THE GAME!!!!* Doing this consistently for a good week, my skin barrier was way healthier. I picked the azelaic acid back up, and did contact therapy for a week, then felt safe enough to leave on skin over night... Viola!!! NO IRRITATION. My skin also reacted this way when I first started using the benzoyl peroxide: burning, inflamed, irritated. I had to "prep" my skin for it. Going right into the product was too much. Sooooo, moral of the story is if there is inflammation using any of these products, heal your skin barrier by overloading your skin with moisture and hydration. Start with contact therapy, then ease your way into leaving it on overnight. DON'T give up!

I’m always hesitant to leave reviews on a product because I’m afraid of jinxing myself. I’m that girl-but I needed the world to know my experience. Whoever is reading this, please take my review for everything it’s worth when you’re suffering with your skin. I see you, and I get it. Life is miserable with bad skin. It’s traumatic. It changes who you are and how you interact with your family, friends and loved ones. I’ve suffered with different forms of acne since 18 years old. I’m 35 now. It’s been on and off over the years but typically rooted in nutrient, immune and gut issues. I get frequent hormonal acne, fungal acne, terrible rashes from histamine intolerance and pustular rosacea. I don’t know if its too early to leave a review but I’ve only been using this for four days and it’s almost completely cleared my skin. I started my period 2 days ago as well and usually my period brings terrible skin and right now have virtually nothing on my face. I don’t know if it’s the azelaic or the niacinamide or both, but something is making a huge difference. These products that F.C creates are nothing short of astonishing. I’ve NEVER been able to use any products because 99 percent of them on the market exacerbate fungal acne. So, to find a company that exclusively creates products that not only don’t trigger fungal issues and also treat other types of acne and rosacea in tandem is impossible to find anywhere else. I hope this review helps someone decide to purchase because you cannot go wrong with the products he comes up with given his knowledge, research and expertise. I have been using the Malezia 10% Micronized Azelaic Acid Cream for about two weeks now, and it is the best OTC azelaic acid product I've ever used. Other non-prescription azelaic acid products I've tried have either been paired with other acids or extracts within the formula that have irritated my sensitive, acne-prone skin, or have been in a less than desirable vehicle, e.g., creams that pill, serums that don't absorb, etc. The Malezia formula is so admirably simple and effective that it's been an instant success at treating my acne and rosacea, without any irritation whatsoever. I couldn't recommend this product more enthusiastically for someone who has yet to find an OTC azelaic acid formula that works for them. Thank you, f.c.!

Most products leave my sensitive skin irritated the next morning, with dryness, stinging, and redness. The Malezia 10% Micronized Azelaic Acid Cream is gentle enough for my very sensitive skin. I cannot report on long-term effects yet, but I'm very hopeful with this inky list!

About to buy my second tube of the azealic acid cream. Have been using several items and brands for the last couple years and nothing gave me the results I was looking. The azealic acid cream has not only cleared the deep acne I had but has prevented any more from developing. I do still use differin gel in tandem but it was ineffective by itself.

I’ve only been using this for about a month but I’m already seeing results! I had always had clear skin until I turned 24 and then all of the sudden the skin around my chin and mouth just erupted. I hadn’t found anything to help heal those scars, even tretinoin just helped a little bit–until now! This stuff is so so so good.

This right here is what I have always wanted for my skin, but never known that it would end up being azelaic acid with niacinamide.

It provides a layer over the moisturiser that even further hinders the TEWL, dries out any and every pimple and the NEXT MORNING it's already flat, not red and with a little dead skin on top - healed. And instead of drying out the whole skin, like salicylic acid or sulfur would, it moisturizes it!

Talking about redness, I have a mild rosacea and after putting this on within about an hour's time my whole face evens out. This is gold, it's gold, I'm telling you.

The texture is not as light as the urea moisturiser, but it's also not siliconey. It's kind of matte, but it applies very smoothly and becomes like your skin, but better. I personally like to not actively feel the products on my skin and this just does that. Please don't stop making it, I have already made my second purchase and subscribed. I hope that the upcoming spf comes soon and one day you also make a body lotion (fingerscrossed). Thank you f.c. and the Malezia team.
