Its star ingredient is urea, a molecule found in the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF) that plays an integral role in improving skin barrier function.

I live in a dry climate and this product still helps my skin feel lubricated without using heavier creams. I think it provides a youthful plump and glow. I use it on my chest and neck as well.
Give yourself and this wonderful brand time to work! I have noticed I still get the occasional monthly breakout and probably will continue to do so (due to hormones), but I am so damn happy with my skin. I have not “completely” cleared out yet, but I consider this absolutelyyyyy clear.

The struggle is real with fungal acne, especially when finding a moisturizer since almost everything else has oils, and other ingredients that trigger a huge breakout for me….this is light, smells good, and moisturizes too. I’m telling everyone I know about it, including my derm!
This is going to be long and I want to excuse my English as it's my third language. I've had FA on both sides of my nose, tiny itchy bumps for 3 years. They came and went and the rest of my skin was flawless. But since a few months, I struggled with more bumps on both sides of my cheeks and my chin. I took a test and turns out, I have very little protective and immunomodulating bacteria in my gut. So the Malassezia on my skin could be bc of that. I found f.c.'s blog, it helped me a lot and I was excited to try the Malezia products. I'm from Germany and the moisturizer and gel cost a lot, unfortunately, but I get it and support small businesses. I did a patch test first and had no bad reactions, I was very happy. So I applied the moisturizer first and the gel over it at night, did the same routine the next night and then in the morning for the first time. The same day, I cleansed my face and applied the moisturizer, but for the first time both sides of my nose started to burn and became red very quickly. I still applied the gel and went to bed but after 15mins I cleansed my face and did my usual routine. The next day, I still woke up with tiny bumps on both sides of my face and the area around my nose is now red. I again did my usual routine to calm my skin down. Just a FA safe hydrating serum and niacinamide serum that don't trigger the Malassezia and I've used for years. I'm very confused and so wanted the products to work the same way they did for a lot of people here. I don't get what happened, why it started burning after I re-applied the moisturizer. My skin normally wouldn't react that way. I mean, I had both products on my face the entire day. I never had such a bad reaction on any skincare product. I would be happy if you could tell me if I did something wrong. Or if someone had a similar reaction. I first thought that it was the phenoxyethanol in the moisturizer, but now I think it's the BP. I put pictures from the day before I had the bad reactions and the day after (which is today).
No issues with my skin, moisturizes decently. Can’t complain
This stuff is the TRUTH. I’ve been through so many different moisturizers I’ve lost track. This is the ONLY one that clears my skin up. I have had severe acne, even went on Accutane, but this combined with a good diet is insane. Please support this brand so I can keep buying this forever.
I've been searching for years for a moisturizer that would be safe for both my rosacea and fungal acne (yeah, I have fun skin) and this is literally the only moisturizer I have tried that doesn't make my skin break out. I love the clean non-scent and texture and the fact it blends nicely into my skin without leaving a sticky residue. I use this urea moisturizer daily and also with the benzoyl peroxide a couple times a week to help keep the blemishes at bay. I've been following the Simple Skincare Science blog for awhile and the information on the blog combined with their own product launch has been a savior for my messed up skin. I can't thank you enough for giving me some of my self esteem back!
I have but this moisturizer since around 2021/2022 and loved this stuff . However I noticed ever since they started packaging in Washington instead of CA I noticed inconsistent feeling on skin . So I bought 3 tubes of this stuff recently , 2 of em irritated by skin slightly and one of em felt normal / very moisturizing on my skin . I never had any issues with the ones coming from Chino ,CA just the ones coming from Spokane Valley WA . Maybe a lack of quality control at new place I am unsure why .

Omg this moisturizer is amazing!! Not even joking my skin was visibly different the following morning after that first use. It’s been a couple of weeks already and I’m so happy I found this! I have combo/oily skin and it doesn’t break me out or feel greasy on the skin. I don’t break out a lot but I suffered with bumps all over my forehead and along the sides of my cheeks and they are now all practically gone. My new holy grail 🙏🏻 thank you for making this! I never thought I’d see the day where my skin was smooth 😆 very grateful for you and for the sezia website that brought me here!
I have been using Malezia's urea moisturizer since it launched. I don't have acne concerns but I was looking for a gel moisturizer with urea and I think this might be the only one on the market. It's a crucial step in my AM/PM routine, so I buy a year's worth every Black Friday. Unfortunately, the products I received in December 2023 seem different than previous ones (which I would have bought in December 2022). The new tube smelled strongly of alcohol when I opened it and any time I wear it, my skin flares up with rosacea that takes a few days to clear using very gentle products. I stopped using Malezia for a full month to see how my skin looked, and when I reintroduced it, I again flared up with the redness and sensitivity the day(s) after. Beyond bummed. If I can't get a refund I'll sell my extra tubes on eBay.

Did you happen to change anything else in your routine around the same time you received the new tube of moisturizer? We also want to clarify that the alcohol scent is not a normal characteristic of our product and we would like to further investigate this issue.
