Malezia 5% Urea Moisturizer

I always forget to mention how much I love the sustainable packaging. So I'll start there before I forget (again). Thank you for the great packaging.

I definitely give this five stars because I try to review products for what they are against their promises, not what they aren't. This is a very nice moisturizer, which is great for FA and SD-prone skin. However, it is not one-stop shopping for dry skin, especially in winter. I know very dry skin and FA don't often go together, but it does happen, and it makes moisturizing a nightmare since most moisturizers are gel formulas. Some of them seem to make the dryness worse. This one is good for me in summer during the day, under sunscreen, in mild to moderate humidity. In dryer months or at night, it's somewhere in the middle layer. I'll take a pea-sized amount of this moisturizer with a rice-grain amount of vaseline and mix them, and then apply. I try not to do a full, heavy occlusive layer as it seems to make my FA issues worse due to trapped moisture, but a little WP in products can help a ton.

The urea in this product is pretty unique in terms of the FA-safe moisturizers I've tried, so that's probably why it works so well, but when I need more protection from water loss and dryness, I use this as part of the moisturizer regimen... whether it's adding vaseline or patting on more squalane oil, or layering this with other moisturizers... There just has to be more. But in all my trial and error, there is no one-stop shopping for FA-prone very dry skin. Regardless, this is a top-notch addition to the moisturizer market for FA-prone skin. We really needed it, so thank you!

Last year, I went off the pill for the first time since my early 20s. About 3 months later, it seemed like all the hormonal acne I'd missed out on as a young adult came back with a vengeance and zeroed in on my forehead. It was constantly riddled with acne, and nothing I tried helped. About 9 months in, I came across Malezia via Reddit and figured I'd give it a try. So happy I did! My forehead is as clear as it was when I was on the pill, and my acne in general feels more under control than even when I was on the pill. Acne goes away so much faster. I don't have before pictures, so you can't get the full effect, but I don't think I've ever been happier with how my skin looks and feels as I am now!

This is a great moisturizer and gentle exfoliator. It didn’t cause any new breakouts. My skin seemed to enjoy it.

I cannot emphasize how great these moisturizers and cleansers are ! Truly the best ! I have extremely sensitive acne prone skin and this saves my skin . I will forever be purchasing

Ugh this moisturizer is faultless. I have very sensitive skin and have struggled with a mix of hormonal, bacterial, and fungal acne. I live in a very humid environment in Miami and love how light and hydrating this product is. I also use the cleanser and benzoyl peroxide and love both products. So happy I found this brand and as a self proclaimed skincare junkie I think it outperforms many products in the industry. Highly recommend!

I have loved all of my products from Malezia. I first started using the moisturizer, face wash, and benzoyl peroxide after I had mystery acne for several months and the dermatologist couldn't figure it out. I was even on medication for a few months. This program cleared it right up! I am a loyal customer now - my skin looks amazing.

Literally the only moisturizer I'll ever use (if I have any say in it). I used to get little tiny dot pimples no matter what and now: nothing. CLEAR.

Lightweight, a nice cream

This!!!!! The core regimen…I NEVER write reviews. But with these products, I could not help myself. Recently flared up with bad fungal acne the last few months after exploring some new skincare products. After accutane in high school I never had to worry about breakouts again until recently. I also have tinea versicolor on my body, so when I started breaking out on my face, I searched and searched for something to help. Truly about two weeks in and this is absolutely incredible!
