Our advanced acne treatment uses 2.5% micronized benzoyl peroxide, an FDA-approved antiseptic, to target acne with precision.
The micronization process breaks down particles to a finer size, enhancing skin tolerance and reducing irritation risk.
This method ensures effective acne management without compromising the skin's natural moisture balance. In fact, clinical studies have even shown that micronized benzoyl peroxide can increase skin moisture levels.
For reference, our benzoyl peroxide has an average particle size of 5 microns: smaller than the size of a bacteria cell.
We've also included 0.5% sodium phytate for its ability to boost skin moisture and elasticity, regulate oil production, and combat hyperpigmentation.

First of all, even I didn't realize how inflamed my neck had become, until I put the before and after side by side. The before is sickening! I have one other dramatic breakout and several small spots (not pictured). All saw immediate improvement (drying, less inflamed), followed by slow, steady improvement. I've gone through 1 1/2 courses of the core regimen so far. I'm thrilled. The best thing: the pain of the inflamed spots went away quickly. One place I had was inflamed and hurting for over two years. Practically gone now. I'm 65, female, sufferer of extreme SD since 1993, and scalp problems since 1980. (Forgive my ugly neck). This is the best kept skincare secret. Why is it not more well known? I’d been dealing with breakouts all my life. And this has, in the shortest amount of time, cleared my skin and prevented breakouts. Love that the routine is so simple. Just the moisturizer and the acne treatment is enough. I’ve struggled with acne my whole life. A few years ago I found K-beauty and it changed my skin completely. It worked great! Until it didn’t. I don’t know why or what triggered it but I had redness and acne-like bumps I’d never had before. I tried so many “redness calming” products to try to calm it down and nothing worked. I have suffered with acne for most of my life. I am now in my 50’s and I no longer do but unfortunately my children have it now! The only thing that cured my acne
My teen son started having weird breakouts that he had never experienced before. After going through many products that didn’t work, I came across simpleskincarescience.com and realized what was actually going on with his skin—fungal acne due to antibiotics. I am not exaggerating when I say that his skin dramatically improved after TWO DAYS of these products. I would not classify his skin as terrible before, but it was definitely an issue and bothersome to him. I just created a subscription so he will never run out! So grateful!
I bought this system for my teen daughter to try. And we have since kept re-ordering…it’s that great! She had fungal acne, plus some other spots of regular acne. I would not expect to clear your skin of fungal acne in 2-3 weeks, but this system has cleared a lot of hers AND keeps her moisture barrier in tact. About 4 weeks in, there was about 50% reduction. We decided at 6-7 weeks in… to piggyback using the Core Regimen and anti-fungal shampoo. She uses the shampoo on her face about 3 nights per week. The combo of those two things is further clearing her skin and we’re almost clear. The Core products keep her skin so moisturized while also keeping her skin from acquiring more acne. The BP in this bundle works, but somehow is super gentle. The Urea moisturizer is so awesome too. My daughter is an athlete, so constant sweating does not help and further complicates the clearing. It’s been a process, as she had a really bad case of it. Before this, we tried everything under the sun and nothing cleared it and her skin would get really dry and irritated. These are the first products to actually work!! She has such a glow on her skin now! As a side note to help….I highly recommend changing anything and everything out that would touch your skin, for fungal acne safe products. We changed laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, any makeup product, hairspray, everything! If you do some research, you will see that most things we use on our skin and hair contain ingredients that feed fungal acne. So be aware of that! I found fungal acne safe recommendations on simple skincare science, there are a lot of options. I will add pics soon of my daughter’s skin!
