If you’re dealing with seborrheic dermatitis, sensitive skin, or looking for a gentle but powerful first cleanser, the MALEZIA Cleansing Balm is absolutely worth trying. It’s rare to find a product that checks all the boxes — safe, effective, non-irritating — but this one honestly delivers.
This is easily the standout product from Malezia for me. I’d really been missing my old double cleansing routine post FA diagnosis. Micellar waters and non emulsifying MCT or squalane oil just isn’t the same. And then this came along…and love at first sight lol! I’d classify it more as a gel texture than a balm- which is a good thing in my opinion. It’s not a drippy mess, but doesn’t feel suffocating either. I love taking my time with it and really massaging it in to breakdown makeup, sunscreen and whatever else the day throws at me. And I especially love how easy it is to rinse afterwards! I also love having the option to use it as a light exfoliating mask/gentle cleanser on mornings when I wake up a bit oily. Honestly, this feels like a total upgrade from the oil cleansers I used and loved pre FA. I recommend it to just about everyone- whether they’re dealing with acne and/or malassezia or just looking for a gentle way to exfoliate!
I'm using this followed by the hyaluronic acid cleanser as a double-cleanse to remove makeup and sunscreen. The consistency is different from other cleansing balms that I've tried, the product is a pleasure to use, and my skin is genuinely looking clearer than ever.
I’ve been using it for about a month and really enjoy it. To me it’s more of a gel than true “balm” but that makes sense since it’s fungal acne safe. Starts as a gel consistency, then when it’s rubbed into the skin melts into a slippery oil cleanser. I don’t wear sunscreen but I do wear makeup. Breaks down makeup very well. Can also be used in tandem with another oil cleanser. I sometimes use it with my Squalane oil or Neutrogena oil free makeup remover to and it’s makes the most amazing plush oil cleanser that’s leaves my skin feeling moisturized after rinsing. The only negative is that if you get it near the eyes it BURNS like satan is dancing on your eyeballs. But to be fair the instructions literally say not safe for eye area.
I have struggled terribly with fungal acne for 2 years. Not only have I tried multiple solutions, but dealt with mental health effects that come with acne. Because of this cleasing balms ingredients, I can continue to wear makeup while finally clearing my skin. This is my THIRD bottle of this cleansing balm, and it makes all the difference.

This stuff is amazing! It has cleared and refined my pores so well. I think there was a little purge in the first week using it. My skin looks so good, smooth, and healthy. The cleansing balm, along with the other Malezia products, is super effective treating my fungal acne and any other zits that come up. 100% recommend.
Beautiful as a pre cleanse and make up remover. Been using this every night for about a week and no issues whatsoever. My skin usually breaks out with balmy or oil cleanser and this definitely one out two that doesn’t break me out. Removes make up well, not sticky or greasy, feels good to use. Would recommend as a precleanse or makeup remover.
I have never used a cleansing balm before and was a little skeptical at first but this proved me wrong. It’s great as an added cleanser to go deeper than what the face wash does. I use it a few times a week.
I very much like this cleanser and have repurchased several times. After using the oil cleanser I leave it on for a few minutes in the evening like a mask and gently wash it off with a face cloth. I have sensitive skin and struggled with fungal acne until I found malezia. This keeps it from drying out. Feels greasy but it’s really moisturizing. Salicylic acid was in the main ingredient the dermatologist had me using as a teen and works great for acne in general, so I was very happy to find this. Love the metal packaging and customer service as well.
