Its star ingredient is urea, a molecule found in the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF) that plays an integral role in improving skin barrier function.
Urea is a multi-functional ingredient with the ability to hydrate and mildly exfoliate. It's so effective as a hydrator, in fact, that it outperforms vaseline in some studies. (1)

It has improved my skin
My holy grail. Been using for about 2 years and it’s the only moisturizer I ever wanna buy again.
I've been using Malezia since 2021 and this moisturizer is perfect for me - I don't have any more clogged comedones but I do get the deep hydration my dry skin needs plus a competitive price point and it's sensitive skin friendly. This moisturizer doesn't have irritating fragrances that break me out and is affordable enough that I can put high-quality product on my face AND neck/chest area.
This in combination with products that pass the ingredient checker on folliculitusscout.com have changed my life from an itchy breakout mess to clear skin and comfort.
I never had acne when I was younger but rather very sensitive and allergic skin that prevents me from using a lot of products. I didn’t start experiencing acne issues until I got perioral dermatitis a few years ago. Since then my skin has been more prone to irritation and acne that is very difficult to treat. I went on doxycycline for the perioral dermatitis which helped but I was uncomfortable being on an antibiotic for an extended period of time. Cut to this last year where it seemed like I was getting a perioral dermatitis flare up as well as fungal acne.
My derm put me on oral antifungal and antibiotics and I was game as I knew it had worked last time. However, it never fully cleared up the fungal acne on my forehead and it kept coming back on my cheeks as well. After 6 months I asked for a topical option and was told “topical treatments aren’t effective, stick with the oral treatment.” This product proved that statement to be very wrong!
I’ve been off the oral medication for about 6 weeks and my skin was getting worse and worse, new bumps seemed to form every day for no reason. I found this product and was a little hesitant as I have spent a lot of money on products in the past just for them to destroy my skin. Fortunately I don’t have to ever try a new product again because lemme tell you this is it!
I’ve been using it for only 3 days and my skin has almost completely cleared. After the first application I woke up the next day and saw that the bumps on my face were less inflamed but couldn’t believe it was working that quickly. This product is seriously a life changer, and anyone who has been struggling with something similar please give this a try!!! I can’t wait to tell my derm that topical treatments actually do work 😂
Perfect for fungal acne!! Super lightweight
I’m in my (early...) 30’s and had some trouble with subderm and acne, especially around my beard. After trying a few different regiments from other brands (both normal pharmacy and high-end specialty brands) doing quite a bit of research, I pulled the trigger on the full Malezia regiment, the Urea moisturizer included. Sadly I did not grab any before photos... but being pretty diligent about following the regiment exactly every evening, I've noticed a definite improvement.
On the moisturizer, the instructions are absolutely right that it works best when your face is a bit moist. But after 3-4 minutes of letting it soak in, my skin doesn't feel greasy or oily at all.
The big point: For the first couple days, I didn't notice anything at all happening. Then for about a week, my face almost seemed to be worsening. But I stuck with it through then, and it's been great ever since.
Separate from the actual products, I'll mention that: (1) the packaging is great quality, though the cap on the moisturizer was a bit different than pictured (it may have just changed); (2) Like the regiment guide says, I end up using a bit more than a pea-sized amount of the moisturizer -- not a problem or anything, but it makes me wish the moisturizer was sized *slightly* larger compared to the BP gel, so they'd be used up at the same time.
I’ve been using this moisturizer since it was in early stage air pump bottles. Finding an FA safe routine is a nightmare, especially for someone who is FA prone and dry. I’ve gone through enough tubes now to say I honestly will never use another moisturizer. I do have to add the cosrx light ampule + snail mucin essence in the extra dry winter months, but that doesn’t bother me. I like that I can use this year round, no irritation, breakouts, itchiness - nothing. I can use it around my eye area with no worries. My partner recently borrowed it on vacation (who’s prone to eczema and psoriasis) and now they’re hooked too. I can’t thank FC enough for these products, and I’m only sad you don’t also make makeup!
So lightweight and moisturizing!!! I’ve tried several moisturizers and none of them have left my skin feeling so smooth and hydrated, especially all day! And it doesn’t peel!!! I’ll never use anything else!
I am acne prone and super oily, hard to find a moisturizer that isn’t too heavy and won’t clog my pores. This is the best moisturizer I’ve ever used it’s also perfect for summer heat and humidity. It dries down quickly and doesn’t leave any shine adding to my oily t zone . I bought 2 extra tubes once I fell in love with the first one, I cannot be without this moisturizer! Too soon to tell how the whole regimen works for me since I haven’t been consistent but I will forever use this moisturizer !
I’m on tube #3 and can safely say this is my holy grail moisturizer! I love this. It’s lightweight, no breakouts, and feels very moisturizing. A+ product.
