Malezia BHA PHA Solution

For context, my skin is oily and acne prone. Two years ago I became fungal acne prone too. I have light-medium skin of colour that is prone to hyperpigmentation and some redness.
I've used this serum (once, every two days) as my only treatment/ active for the past month. I don't use the Benzoyl Peroxide since my skin has always preferred salicylic acid. This serum alone has kept my pores clear, prevented those annoying monthly hormonal breakouts around the chin, and helped a lot with redness and past scaring.
This serum is also very moisturising and leaves my skin soft and supple and does not cause any dry patches or peeling whatsoever. A bonus is that it absorbs nicely and doesn’t pile under make up or sunscreen.
Following advice from Simpleskincarescience I previously used Stridex pads which was effective but incredibly drying even for my oily skin. I found only two other fungal acne safe salicylic acid products on the market but their ingredients are irritating so I'm incredibly grateful that this product exists now.
I also love that this brand always offers discount codes. It makes all the products worth it, even with the international shipping. International shipping to the UK is also very fast, just over a week!
I haven't had any active acne for a while so my routine is the Malezia cleanser, Malezia moisturizer and a FA safe sunscreen in the morning. Then in the evening I use a FA safe micellar water to remove the spf/ makeup, then the cleanser, this BHA (every two nights), followed by the moisturizer.
The Malezia cleanser, moisturizer and BHA are my absolute holygrails and I always have back up bottles.

I had been using The Ordinary direct acid products, but many of those contain polysorbate 20. I was still having little breakouts. Since switching to Malezia BHA PHA solution, the tiny daily breakouts are gone. Yay! Product goes on smoothly and absorbs nicely. Does not irritate my rosacea at all. I use it at night a wake up with smooth feeling skin. Great product!

This solution is fabulous! My seb derm prone face loves it. I started off using twice/weekly and am soon going to step up to 3X/weekly but I will add that I had been using Humane's Clarifying toner BHA twice a day for a long time. This has a similar formulation so I felt confident my skin would be OK. (Plus my skin hates benzoyl peroxide and it's not in my routine.) This solution has now become my main exfoliator. I agree it's very liquidy and dispensing requires being careful so you don't drip everywhere and waste it. I plan to reorder soon so I have a backup on hand.

I used this for the first time last night after using the HA cleanser. The solution is more liquid-y than I expected but it’s no biggie as it was easy to apply all over my face. I waited a minute or so then applied the urea moisturizer as usual. I woke up with smoother, plumper skin! My redness has gone down significantly since using the cleanser and moisturizer but this reduced it even more. Never thought my skin could look like this without makeup. The trick now is to stick to using the solution only once a week to avoid overdoing it lol

I want to clarify I have used this only two times as I have had it for just two weeks. But this makes my skin SO soft and doesn’t strip it at all. This is less drying on my skin than the benzoyl peroxide solution, which surprised me, and left my skin so nourished and refreshed in the morning as well. I am very excited to see longer term results , and incorporating it up to 2-3 times a week as my skin aclimates to it. I think it will be a very smooth transition considering how gentle it has been on my skin yet how wonderful the results have been already.

I am so happy that this product was developed by this company. It is very effective while leaving your skin moisturized. This has become my favorite BHA product. I’ve been using it for maybe a week now, but I trust the quality of their products. I have Sub Derm and I am happy that their products have been working out for me.
