Malezia Acne Treatment Gel (2.5% Micronized Benzoyl Peroxide)

I have so much to say. I've been dealing with fungal acne/pityrosporum folliculitis for almost 4 years. After all the research I've done I still don't understand how I'm dealing with an ongoing condition that I never had a problem before, but has no cure? I will not stop trying to find the root cause and fix things from the inside out, but honestly, until I can find a way to rid myself of this, Malezia has saved my sanity. I have tried ALL the things - sulfur masks, homemade boric acid spray, topical and internal probiotics (including paracasei and crispatus for skin), nizoral shampoo as a mask, wheatgrass spray, colloidal silver spray, raw honey masks, miconazole cream, etc. Nothing works as well as this. However, you need to know that I truly think you need to use this long term to see the best results. The protocol for this wants you to use only these products for 8 weeks to start out, and I do think that's an accurate time frame to clear your skin. I know that's not what anyone wants to hear, but I've even used Ciclopirox (prescription only) and it still wasn't a miracle quick solution. It seems seborrheic dermatitis/malassezia related problems take a long time to heal. So give this a fair shot. Be consistent and stay the course! My skin doesn't have any issues with these products, but if yours does I recommend healing your skin barrier as your first priority. Use what you can and try not to use any actives for awhile.

Also, if you're not doing so already, change over to fungal acne safe products. Simplify your routine. I use the Malezia core regimen every night, and in the morning I use two serums from Oliveda that are FA safe. During the day after I workout and shower I use the Urea cream mixed with two drops (start with one, work up to two) of Nutribiotic Grapefruit Seed Extract liquid. This step has been a recent addition and I swear by it as well. It has helped improve my fungal acne and prevented any bacterial acne for me. I don't get a lot of regular acne, but the grapefruit seed extract has really helped me avoid it pretty much entirely, while also helping the fungal acne. That's my whole routine. I do use the Malezia MCT oil to remove makeup if I've worn any (before doing the core regimen). But overall that's it, and the core regimen is the staple of my whole routine. That, combined with the grapefruit seed extract has been game changing for me, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone who is dealing with this. I know exactly how frustrating and honestly kind of hopeless it can feel that it will ever get better. I hope that my experience helps someone else. The last recommendation I have is to use Dr. Happy Cappy shampoo, and follow up with a small amount of the MCT oil directly on your scalp with a dropper if you have any dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis on your scalp. (Don't use too much or you'll be a greaseball).

Don't expect a miracle quick cure with this, but you should see a big improvement by the 2 week mark. And it does slowly keep getting better after that as well, if you're consistent. Truly hope it works for everyone else as it did for me. Good luck!

When I first started getting FA about a year ago I initially dismissed Malezia because it was "just benzoyl peroxide" which I had tried before from other brands and found it didn't really help. I ended up spending an absurd amount of money on different products that didn't work until I circled back on Malezia this past June, totally at my wits end. After a couple days I could already tell it was working. It hasn't 100% cleared my skin yet but I'm still extremely happy! I also love how quick and simple the routine is, making it easy to stay consistent. I wish I had given Malezia a chance when I first heard about them, it would have saved me so much grief and money. Really hope this company blows up, they deserve it.

i've been putting this over the entire area where i get hormonal acne, my chin and jawline. i've only been using it for about a month but my pre-menstrual week (which is generally when i break out with cysts there) was totally clear, so my hopes are really high. the product itself is a very lightweight white gel. it dries down quickly and doesn't pill when other moisturizers and sunscreen are layered on top of it (i use this 1x per day only in the morning so as to avoid bleaching my pillowcases). i have not had any irritation or dryness since starting this BP gel, and i'm someone who's prone to dry skin and flakiness especially around those acne areas. i will continue to repurchase as long as my face stays clear - here's hoping!!

I have been using this product maybe for two weeks, but it has changed my skin! I didn't take before and after pics but I had/have (self diagnosed) fungal acne or something like it and I had tried so many things to get rid of it. My cheeks, chin and sides of neck had little "pimples" that weren't going away. I started using the Nizoral anti dandruff shampoo for a face/neck wash (let it sit on face for like 5 minutes) and then applying Anua10+ Azelaic acid, spot treating with this and then using the Urea Moisture last. Its pretty much gone! I noticed a difference within 24 hours of use! Will be repurchasing after I run out. Also, its a huge bottle for the price. Love it. If I think of it I will take pictures and add later :)

literally tried everything to get rid of my acne. I probably spent over £1000 on different products, gave them all time, and had 0 luck. The only thing that has ever worked before is “Duac” but it was on prescription from the gp and made my skin very red and flaky even after using it for months when i was a teen. At 23 I had been getting really bad cystic acne, mainly on my jaw and forehead. I also had hundreds of tiny bumps all over my face too that wouldn’t budge. Bought this after reading about it on a fungal acne forum somewhere, this was when I wasn’t sure if it was fungal or hormonal acne. Was a bit sceptic as it’s from the USA and had to pay quite high in shipping. Fast forward two years i’ve ordered the cleanser and moisturiser almost 6 times! Still use the benzyol peroxide treatment when needed, and have ordered this 2 times as well. Honestly can’t thank this company enough for saving my skin. My skin is pretty much clear now. I’ve had acne on my chin for my entire adult life. I started using malezia 5 days ago and my skin is the clearest it’s been in 4 years.
