Its star ingredient is urea, a molecule found in the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF) that plays an integral role in improving skin barrier function.
Urea is a multi-functional ingredient with the ability to hydrate and mildly exfoliate. It's so effective as a hydrator, in fact, that it outperforms vaseline in some studies. (1)

i am so thankful f.c. created this moisturizer… i had “fungal acne” & a combo of diet & switching to products he recommended have helped my skin. my skin is so sensitive i swear everything makes me break out but not this moisturizer! been using it since the beginning! ty! can’t wait to try to azeleic acid ✨
This is the single best moisturizer I’ve ever used. It softens, moisturizes, calms and works well under makeup. I can use it in the summer and winter, and my skin is smoother than ever. I only wish it came in larger sizes and didn’t explode out when first opening (I live in altitude).
I wish I would have taken a before and after photo. My skin is in better shape, even after a couple weeks. I have rosacea. I have sensitive, highly reactive skin. I get rashes. I get acne. My skin flakes from tazarotene . After these couple weeks, I hardly have any skin issues. I still have my rosacea flush, but the rest of my list of skin issues is nearly resolved. I moved from Vanicream products. I tried CeraVe, La Roche, Avene, homeopathic, tallow, Cetaphil, all the Ulta and Sephora brands, Dr Idriss, Remedy, and I could go on. This moisturizer absorbs well and is not shiny. I use just a pea size and sandwich method on tazarotene nights. I'm happy so far. I got the face wash and balm, the benzoyl treatment too.
This moisturizer is perfect. It’s not heavy, but still provides adequate moisture. Ot soaks in quickly, hasn’t made me breakout. A little goes such a long way. The packaging is awesome too. I love the metal tube!
I have been struggling with acne for most of my adult life, but a few years ago it changed in a way I didn’t understand. I realize now what I’ve been dealing with have been FA flareups. Nothing I was doing was working, most of my skincare and makeup had triggers, I had almost given up hope. I finally discovered Malezia. This moisturizer made my skin feel and look better almost immediately and it has continued to get better every single day since. I am astonished and so thankful this exists.
I randomly discovered Malezia through the wonderful world of Reddit, and I haven’t looked back since. I have some fungal acne, but my main skin problem is rosacea. The Malezia regimen is the only one I’ve found that doesn’t make my rosacea angry. Even previously good regimens would leave my skin with the occasional breakout or underlying redness. Malezia does not. I hope this company never goes out of business because my skin is forever changed for the better because of it.
I have been struggling with my dry irritated flaky rosacea hyper sensitive brreakout skin for years. I have tried literally hundreds of products and they never solved the problems I was having with breakouts redness and irritation. I could see difference in my skin literally a few days after of using this. The flakes and dry skin are gone redness is reduced and my skin is calmer. I cannot wait to see what it looks like after a few months.
I had chronic redness around my nose that would not go away. I finally figured out that the redness is Seborrheic dermatitis caused by a fungus, Malassezia yeast. Then I realized that almost all facial moisturizers (and makeup) have ingredients that feed the fungi, making it almost impossible to cure it completely. Finding a facial moisturizer that was completely safe and did not contain any offending ingredients was difficult but I'm so glad I found this company and moisturizer. I am so pleased with the results! Not only has the redness around my nose gone away (I also had to switch to Bare Minerals 5 ingredient foundation) but, overall, my whole face is softer and smoother than before. I am also impressed with the company, Malezia. The ordering process is easy and the speed of shipping is excellent.
I've been using this moisturizer for over 6 years now and gone from being very insecure about my bad skin to receiving compliments about my clear skin. It's not too thick, too oily or too watery and there's no unpleasant smell. Each tube lasts a reasonable amount of time. I am normally pretty good at criticizing things but I can't even come up with anything negative to say about this product. As long as they don't drastically change the formula, I will keep buying & using this moisturizer forever.
It has been an impossible journey to find a fungal acne safe moisturizer that doesn’t break me out, leave my face dry or itchy. However, since I tried this moisturizer my skin has been happy and hydrated. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. I would just love if it came with more oz.
