Its star ingredient is urea, a molecule found in the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF) that plays an integral role in improving skin barrier function.
Urea is a multi-functional ingredient with the ability to hydrate and mildly exfoliate. It's so effective as a hydrator, in fact, that it outperforms vaseline in some studies. (1)

I found this cream through reddit. During my pregnancy, I developed fungal acne and it was the worst! I used Lotrimin AF, which helped, but postpartum, the fungal acne came back with a vengeance. I realized the face lotion I was using actually feeds fungal acne!!!! Desperate, one night, I was googling other remedies and stumbled upon this brand. I tried the cream and after a week, in conjunction with Lotrimin AF, and my skin is back to normal and clear! I cannot thank you enough for so thoughtfully creating a product that actually works! Also the packaging is gorgeous. I will definitely be a long time customer!!!!
I have very dry skin and live in a very dry climate. Fave moisturizer that seriously hydrates and isn’t super thick. It’s also great for layering over serums. I keep it on rotation!
I started using this when I damaged my skin barrier for over treating a very bad breakout, I also have very very oily skin and this has helped. I no longer wake up with an oily face, break outs calming down. I am 50 and I shouldn't even be breaking out at my age but here I am. Will add the BP into my routine once my face is doing better. Which is also from this brand.
I have suffered with Seborrheic Dermatitis on parts of my face most of my adult life. Have tried every product under the sun. Nothing worked long term or even made my condition worse. Not to mention the extreme prices for a lot of skin care products out there. I even tried different diet and lifestyle changes, but nothing moved the needle. The Dermatologist would just prescribe Ketoconazole or Hydrocortisone to manage the symptoms. The Urea Moisturizer worked almost immediately. I have added in the cleanser and have not had any flare ups in over two months strong. My face even has more resilience to the sun which always caused a reaction. I could not recommend this product enough. I just assumed my condition was something I would have to manage the rest of my life! I very rarely leave reviews but felt compelled to tell my story in case it can help someone else like me!! Malezia...please work on Shampoo and Conditioners next!
This is the best moisturiser I have ever tried. At first I was a touch sceptical of how good it could truly be, even despite the rave reviews and having seen great results from following f.c.'s instructions on Simple Skincare Science. Even after only a couple weeks of consistent use it earnestly transformed my skin. All the irremovable acne on my forehead is fully gone and has not come back since. It's been ~6 months of consistent use now and I will never change products - if this moisturiser or any other of the products are discontinued I will be distraught beyond measure!
If I can give one piece of advice, strictly follow the core regimen for at least 2 months as recommended - no other products, consistent use. Don't get tempted to vary it up if results aren't immediate!! After 2 months, I started using the MCT Oil for oil cleansing and the Azelaic Acid in the morning which have also done a world of wonders for my skin texture - using the products as recommended is key!

I don’t have fungal acne but since adding this moisturizer my skin never flakes or feels dry anymore on tretinoin and it just looks brighter and healthier all around. Wears well under spf too.
After hitting perimenopause and developing the worlds most sensitive skin including perioral dermatitis and acne rosacea, I had spent a small fortune trying to find something that worked without making all of my skin issues worse. This moisturizer is so wonderful, the first morning after I used it, I almost cried when I looked in the mirror and realized my redness had decreased instead of increased. Please don’t ever change a thing. Also, fabulous customer service and fast shipping. Customer for life!
This keeps my skin clear and soft, and I think the texture is absolutely beautiful. I put it on morning and night. It's the best moisturizer I've ever used, and my daughter and husband love it, too.
when i finally found out my problem was malassezia, my whole body was over run. i started with dermazen, and i think their products are great, but all are very sticky and for my moisturizer i wanted to find a go to moisturizer. i like this one and it does seem helpful on exfoliation which is greatly needed when this stuff has been building up for decades in many stealth ways and all over your body.
I just wanted to post a very positive review even though I don’t normally do reviews. We had a shipping issue that was extremely frustrating to no fault of Malezia or the shipping company. And after reaching out to see if anything could be done, customer service is helping us get a replacement of the products we originally ordered since our shipment was lost. We haven’t even had the opportunity to use the products yet, but this is not the kind of service you would get with a big company, which is why I feel like this is likely the products that will finally work. They REALLY CARE! I’ll be posting a review soon once we get a chance to try them out.
