I had a really itchy scalp and skin and I live in a really dry climate and I sweat like crazy, it's kind of embarrassing. My husband even told me he thought I was allergic to my own sweat lol.
So I thought I needed more moisture! I was adding straight up oil to my hair and skin. That made things worse. But my skin would break out with any face wash, moisturizer, or sunscreen I would try, too.

I have only been using these products for a couple of weeks but, so far, I am quite impressed. I have a little one who is nursing so unfortunately I cannot try all the products and am sticking to the basics for now, but my skin seems to be responding well. The face wash leaves the skin feeling very clean and fresh and I love the moisturizer. The packaging is beautiful and elevates the experience by giving a luxurious vibe. I am very excited to see what new products are released over time. A barred soap for body acne would be fantastic!

I've been using this cleanser since August 2024 and I love it! Currently in December 2024 and I'm onto my second bottle. I use it twice a day and it's lasted so well, so even though there are cheaper alternatives, this feels more economical in the long run. It lathers up perfectly without stripping the skin; it feels luxurious and moisturising while still feeling like you've had a good cleanse. I buy from the UK and I cannot recommend this cleanser enough. I do think it is the main reason my closed comedones have cleared up.
I use this after the MCT Oil and the two products work great together, cleansing the make up, sunblock, and oil from my face. My skin never feels stripped dry. Great products!
I have struggled with forehead bumps on and off since I was a teenager. All other cleansers I’ve used have been too strong and over strip my skin and actually causes my bumps to get worse/irritated. This cleanser also has minimal ingredients and zero fragrance (which can also irritate skin). I will continue to re-purchase this cleanser as it has calmed my skin down and given me the gift of clear skin!
I've been dealing with acne pretty much my entire life. I had to use Accutane twice to get my skin to even remotely calm down, and cannot tell you how many other pills, creams, and medically prescribed face washes I've had to use throughout my life. I was put on to Malezia by a friend of mine, and I cannot sing enough praises for this brand - I think the last time my skin looked this good was when I was a baby. I still get the occasional hormonal pimple, but they go away so much faster than they ever used to. Since using this, I have started feeling so much more comfortable going out in public without makeup and just showing off my bare skin, which is an amount of confidence I have never thought I would ever be able to reach. I have oily, acne prone skin. Before I discovered FC’s simpleskinscarescience blog, I was approaching skincare all wrong. I was using a stripping acid cleanser every day/night and not moisturising enough, then also using actives on top of that.
I would wake up every single morning with a new spot, that would scar and cause redness.
The blog taught me the importance of keeping it simple and gentle even if you have oily skin.
I now use this gentle cleanser and the urea moisturiser with the BHA (every two days). My skin is hydrated, clear and acne free with no congestion.
I highly recommend this cleanser for all skin types. It’s gentle but refreshing without being stripping. It’s perfect to use if you’re using actives like Benzol Peroxide, BHA/AHAs or retinol. I think it would also work well for dry skin too.
Its unfragranced but has a very slight nature fresh scent which I love.
FA safe cleansers are rare anyway and I have not found any other FA safe cleanser that has such a simple and short ingredient list. This is a very special product.
I appreciate that this brand always offers discount codes. It makes the products affordable even with the international shipping. International shipping to the UK is fast (approx. 10 days for me) but I always make sure to have a back up bottle, as I'd hate to be without this cleanser even for a just over a week!
