Malezia Cleansing Balm ‘Pilot’

Absolutely love this product. I have tried my share of products out there but this one is the real deal!

It arrived with a small amount of leakage but this was clearly explained on the website and I chose to take a chance because I wanted to try it anyway. I think the parcel held up well given that it was sent internationally. I gave it a good shake and used it and I felt it is lovely. I wanted a product that would be good for the hormonal and random fa flare ups I get. I haven't oil/double cleansed in a long time and I felt it really cleaned my skin well. The texture of my skin the next day is supere smooth and some of the break outs have already reduced. I will keep using this when needed and will definitely try the next model of this cleanser.
I've loved all the products I've tried from here and recommend this site often. I love that the ingredients list is small and intentional. These products and the blog have really eased my skin problems :-)

It was leaking and busted. Super disappointing

Do not sleep on this product! For me at least, it broke down that stubborn malassezia-caused biofilm that nothing else could touch. My malassezia issues are usually under control (not actively flaking or red as long as I don't stray from the Malezia routine); but sometimes weather or life changes will cause a flare-up that the usual cleanser/MCT/moisturizer routine won't help. And for flare-ups, nothing else has worked for me but this: Malezia Cleansing balm every other day + honey mask (manukora honey + xylitol) also every other day. Life-changing products!

Being diagnosed with FA I bought one by one all Malezia.com offers and must say generally love it. Besides FA I have also acne prone oily skin so was very keen onto double cleanse but to find FA safe oil based cleanser is practically impossible. You can use Squalane oil or MTC. But that‘s it! So actually this cleansing balm is literally on of a kind and I absolutely love how well it works. Regarding the other products as mentioned above I‘m not big friends with the MTC cleansing oil, I cannot say it’s bad but seems to me it leaves my skins incredibly oily and feels heavy too. But probably for dry/sensitive/mixed skin perfect. Also the hydration Urea cream doesn’t really work for me as contains silicones which I’m trying to avoid. It’s shame though because otherwise their products contain minimum ingredients but high quality ones which is amazing and rare to find. Just fyi try to check how many ingredients have generally products from LR Posay, Bioderma etc… So these Malezia guys are definitely doing great job with their products and I will definitely keep supporting them.
Although there’s one thing I really need to
complain that’s shipping and packaging. Why there’s no possibility to choose your courier? There is only one option for international shipping which is actually quite slow. It ships with UPS but only within US and then it’s handled to other local couriers, which are not only slow but also unreliable. I would much rather prefer to pay more and have chance to have fast and safe delivery. And also the packaging especially for longer way shipping it’s very insufficient. Eg for this balm using just an envelope??? That definitely doesn’t help the announced leaking of this product… So I would definitely give 5 stars fro quality of the product but giving two down for shipping and packaging.

The outer package was damage and the product spilled. It was almost half way gone. I have used it a few times and is very greasy, is not like their other products that are of better quality. Very disappointing.

Anything I've ever tried to double cleanse with has caused bad cystic acne or pimples, but this hasn't caused any, so for the first time I've been able to double cleanse. At first my skin was slightly red but after a few days it got used to it and it leaves my skin clean and soft. It's also satisfying seeing the sebaceous filaments it removes as I rinse it off 👍🏽

I was on the fence when I purchased this because I don't really have acne as long as I use good products and eat well. Sometimes I need some extra help but after a fews uses, I noticed big improvements with my skin I had acne that was deeper and it shrunk after a couple uses. I only use it every second or third night. My skin went through a purging, and I didn't even think I had acne. Doesn't dry out my skin or irritate. It's magic.

So I bought the tester because my face was itchy, red, and reacting to everything and lemme tell you - ONE use of this balm and all that itchiness, irritation etc went away. I love that it makes my face feel clean, hydrated, and soothed. As noted in the product description, this tester does separate and because of that, it does leave a slight clear coating on my skin - you can't see it at all and it actually feels GREAT, but it does make me break out a tiny bit. That said, I would 100000% buy this finalized product when it launches. I love this brand and will support them forever!!!

I didn't need a cleansing balm since my face does very well with micellar water, but I wanted something for the occasional facial massage that would be easier to remove than squalane or MCT oil. This was exactly what I was hoping for! It removed a lot of dirt and plugs from my pores and rinsed off clean, leaving my skin feeling hydrated but with nothing leftover. I followed the other reviewers advise and shook the tube vigorously before opening so I didn't have issues due to the separation.
Malezia has yet to let me down and I will definitely be purchasing the finalized version whether I need more or not because F.C. and his blog SAVED MY SKIN. I believe in this brand 100% and will continue to support!
