Malezia 10% Micronized Azelaic Acid Cream

I was struggling with clogged pores on my forehead for a year before I found Malezia. Like hundreds of bumps of all different sizes. I went to the dermatologist, an esthetician, and used Curology (not to mention a million other random products) with no improvement. I completely lost hope. Then I found Malezia. About two months ago I started the BP and moisturizer and saw some positive change, but still wasn’t totally clear. Then at the end of December I decided to try the Azelaic Acid. Within two weeks of using the Azelaic Acid my skin is completely clear!!! What’s crazy is that I had already tried a 10% Azelaic acid formulation from Curology for like eight months with no change - Malezia’s formulation is clearly superior! Not to mention their customer service is top notch. I love Malezia and I will use their products forever - thank you for saving my skin and my confidence!!!

I’ve been using the urea moisturizer and BP gel for a couple years with fantastic results. I got out of my routine for a couple months and started breaking out so I decided to add the azelaic acid cream at night after moisturizer to help with redness and discoloration.

This stuff works, I saw noticeable improvement within a couple days of adding this to my routine with no new sensitivities or dry skin. I use it only at night, on top of a retinoid and the urea moisturizer and since it’s winter and I’ve been extra dry, I’ve been adding another layer of moisturizer on top.

I do notice that I get some product pilling after using this but since I only use it before bed so it hasn’t bothered me. It could also be because of my heavy hand with the moisturizer underneath and on top lol

Overall I would definitely recommend adding this to your routine if you are already using the core regimen and still experiencing some breakouts, redness, or discoloration. I don’t think it is necessary for everyone though. I also would avoid applying it in the morning or under any makeup because of the pilling that I’ve experienced.

I have hormonal acne, rosacea, and occasional FA. I’ve been using Malezia products from the start (MCT oil, moisturizer, BP) and was excited to try the new azelaic acid. I’ve been on prescription azelaic for years. It helps tons with redness but always makes my skin itchy. I’ve also tried niacinamide in OTC and compounded prescription creams but it’s always been irritating. Enter Malezia’s AA cream. No itchiness, no irritation, just calm, more even-toned skin! It’s still early to know how effective it will be with my hyperpigmentation and scars, but I’m hopeful. I always thought niacinamide was one of those ingredients I’d never be able to use but I should’ve known FC would come along and prove me wrong in the best way!

I actually don't have fungal acne, but I do have Ehlers-danlos syndrome and my skin is so sensitive and reacts to every skincare product I try. Until now. I was so excited to add this new step to my routine!

Malezia has done it again, I have only been using it for about a week and can already tell a difference in my skin. I have had this one very congested acne spot that has been a pain to get rid of, I believe this is the key that my skin needed because it is GONE! Acne scars are fading and I can't wait to continue using this product. WONDERFUL

this formulation is such a dream. every single time Malezia releases a new product, it always replaces a routine staple of mine and it ALWAYS ends up being significantly more cosmetically elegant than what I used previously.... i was using azclear 20% for years and always fought with it pilling no matter how well i thought i applied it. but this....... my god, this.... she's truly a ballerina

My skin looked happier after just one night of using this azelaic acid cream. I have very oily, acne-prone and sensitive skin. I applied this cream after the Malezia moisturize and it didn't irritate my skin at all. The texture is very smooth, and it was a dream to apply. My skin looked calmer and brighter the next morning and it's continuing to improve the longer I use it. I'm so pleased with it that I bought two more!

This is the only thing besides tretinoin that has managed my hormonal acne. Differin and Adapalene just could do it. This is also more gentle than tretinoin which I appreciate.
