Its star ingredient is urea, a molecule found in the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF) that plays an integral role in improving skin barrier function.
Urea is a multi-functional ingredient with the ability to hydrate and mildly exfoliate. It's so effective as a hydrator, in fact, that it outperforms vaseline in some studies. (1)

This is the only moisturizer I have been able to use on my face, literally ever. I have watched your video on why and I'd love to say I understand but I don't really need to. This is my 3rd tube and I'm just so happy. I didn't know my face skin could feel the way it does! A completely different texture!
I recently learned that I had fungal acne and had to change my skincare routine to not include any oils. I thought this would be difficult since I loved using Jojoba oil and enjoy thicker moisturizers. I did some research and found Malezia. To my surprise, it actually feels hydrating like thicker lotions but without any oils or heaviness. My fungal acne (with the addition of Paula's choice liquid BHA exfoliant) cleared up within a week! I'm thrilled and my skin feels soft and hydrated.
As a person with horribly oily skin I historically have never liked moisturizers. That has changed with this one! This one actually feels great to put on, even with oily skin - and it helps with prescription retinoid use. Love it.

I'm 75 years old and have dry skin. This lightweight moisturizer absorbs almost instantly. I'm 75 and will never stop using the best products on the market. It's a little spendy, but worth it.

I’ve struggled with acne for so long and I also have combination skin so it’s hard to find a moisturizer that’s not too heavy but still moisturizing, and this one is just what I’ve been looking for!
Im 51, fair skin- I use this moisturizer on my dermatitis/acne prone area (nose mouth chin) and my skin in dry winter air feels so soft and balanced and stays fresh feeling all day. My seb derm spots have not improved but my skin overall/acne has. My 17 yo daughter tried and her acne got prob 25% better within a week which is a lot because we have tried almost everything for years. The tube comes not full, almost the bottom inch is flat before you get product. I wish I could afford to use on my whole face-I will use in combo with my cere ve but we will keep buying.
I’ve been using this product for years back when it was basically their only product. I love it, I want to buried slathered in it. My sensitive, severely acne-prone skin had become dehydrated and wrinkled by my mid 20s living in the desert. Every single moisturizer broke me out and I was slathering myself in hemp oil at night trying to calm it down. I found this product because I followed FC’s blog for a while and it was like finding a miracle. My premature wrinkles from dehydration practically went away (and disappeared once I added face tape at night + retinoids).
Speaking of retinoids, though I am an oily gal at baseline, this moisturizer got me through “retinization” and the flakies were not so bad. I have eczema too that is sensitive to many ingredients and this has always been simple and soothing. I think the urea improved my barrier a lot. Please never discontinue this product, I will cry!
